Jean-Philippe BAERT is appointed CEO of French Martech Scale-up Splio

The company capitalizes on the experience of its new CEO to initiate a new stage of its development.

Paris, March 6th, 2024 - The strategic committee of Splio, a specialist in customer marketing and editor of the eponymous SaaS marketing platform, announces today the appointment of its new CEO, Jean-Philippe BAERT. This change in leadership comes at a time when the company, today established in the Retail Mid-Market in France and Southern Europe, is embarking on a strategic shift in its developement.

Since his arrival in November 2023, Jean-Philippe BAERT has brought to the company all his experience in marketing technologies, his SaaS expertise and his know-how in international development strategy. Under his leadership and in line with the new expectations of its investors, the company is reorganizing around its core technologies of Marketing Automation and Customer Data Platform (CDP). Splio strengthens its value proposition for the Retail Mid-Market by now combining CDP and Marketing Automation into a single platform, an integration that has been eagerly awaited by marketers since the advent of Data-Driven Marketing. The CDP becomes a new component of Marketing Automation at Splio, and the company has made it its new standard.

The technological contribution of its recent acquisitions, notably the one of Tinyclues last year, also enables Splio to add predictive AI functionalities to its platform and enhances the potential of its suite of add-ons (loyalty, Mobile Wallets) to cover all essential and advanced customer marketing needs.

Boosted by an expert ecosystem (agencies, solution partners, connectors), Splio is the undisputed leader in CRM for the Mid-Market Retail sector in Southern Europe, with a significant 25% market share in France.
