SPLIO raises €10 million from the Fonds Ambition Numérique managed by Bpifrance as part of the Future Investment Programme, BNP Paribas Développement and Amundi PEF to develop its SPRING platform

17 October

Paris, October 17, 2016 - SPLIO, a SaaS-based Customer Experience Management software provider, announces a €10 million fundraising round from the Fonds Ambition Numérique, managed by Bpifrance, as part of the Programme d'Investissements d'Avenir (PIA) steered by the Commissariat Général à l'Investissement (CGI), BNP Paribas Développement and Amundi Private Equity Funds (PEF).

SPLIO has leveraged its close relationships with its 500 retail and luxury clients to develop SPRING, the first SaaS-based Customer Experience Management platform for retailers.

The launch of the SPRING platform comes at a time when customer experience management is changing. In an era of increasing digitalization, it is more difficult for retailers to continue to meet their customers' needs as touch points multiply and customer journeys diversify. SPRING is responding to these new challenges by breaking down silos and offering a customer-centric view of the consumer. The entire company then has a complete view of the customer journey, regardless of the channels through which they interact with the brand.

SPLIO achieved a turnover of €16 million in 2015.

The objective of the new management team put in place by the founders of SPLIO is to capitalise on its existing customer base, its technological lead and its excellent time to market to become the leader in this new market for retail.

"After 15 years of profitable and self-financing development, we had become a leading player in multi-channel campaign management.

says Raphaël Jore, Chairman and co-founder of SPLIO.

"Today, this fundraising will allow us to accelerate our growth and deploy our new platform."

"We are clearly in the right place at the right time with the right platform."

says Mireille Messine, Managing Director of SPLIO.

"We have made this capital increase to structure SPLIO, strengthen our technological lead and raise awareness of our SPRING software suite. These new investments will enable us to quickly take a leading position in SaaS customer experience management solutions.

"We were impressed by SPLIO's self-funded development and its success in opening sales subsidiaries in five countries, including China,

says Delphine Larrandaburu, Director of Investments at BNP Paribas Développement.

"This is a testament to their quality of execution and a testament to their ability to replicate and industrialise their business model in the coming years.

"We are very pleased to support SPLIO in the next stages of its development in this highly dynamic sector. We believe that SPLIO's critical size and its new SaaS-based SPRING platform make it a key player in this ecosystem and undoubtedly a player in the consolidation of the sector."

comments Frédéric Le Brun, Director of Investments at Bpifrance.
